Abstract

Neither the operational environment nor the size of construction firms are rational barriers to the implementation of an appropriate management system. However, an appropriate management system must be built around the ‘Quality of Service Provision’ provided to the client. A truly service focused quality system will have an in-built mechanism for the attainment of continued organisational improvement.
