Abstract

Biliary complication is the most common and important complication seen in post-liver transplant patients. An appropriate management of the condition may help in reducing graft loss and improve patient survival. This chapter discusses the biliary complications arising after orthotopic liver transplantation. It includes the risk factors and types of biliary complications seen, the indications and contraindications for the percutaneous management of biliary complications, review of literature regarding the treatment options, percutaneous radiological procedural techniques in the management of various complications covering the advancements as well.
