Black Hole Entropy from Horizon CFT in Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

Abstract

We obtain correct expression for the entropy of spherically symmetric black holes in general D-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet gravity from the asymptotic CFT near the horizon.
