Steps Beyond the Standard Model in Noncommutative Geometry

Abstract

The finite part of the standard model (SM) spectral triple [1] is based on the algebra A F=M2(ℂ⊕ℍ⊕M3(ℂ). The gauge group is the group of unitary elements of this algebra (subject to an ad hoc unimodularity condtion as well).
