Abstract

The influence of disorder on the structure of kinks in conjugated polymers is studied. Towards this end the quasi-classical Green's function equations are solved on the imaginary frequency axis and analytically continued to real frequencies via a Padé method. A substantial broadening of the kink on increasing disorder strength is found.
