Abstract

Torasemide, 1-isopropyl-3-{[4-(3′-methyl-phenylamino)-pyridine]-3-sulfonyl}urea, is a novel diuretic belonging to a new chemical series derived from 4-anilino-3-pyridine-sulfonylurea.
