Many researchers have investigated a series of chlorophenyl phosphorothioates1 for the purpose of obtaining new insecticides. As the results of their efforts, Ronnel2 and VC-133 have been developed. Chlorthion4 and Dicapton5 were found, in a series of chloronitrophenyl phosphorothioates, as low toxicity insecticides.
