Abstract

Different studies have shown, that human tumors are able to synthesize prostanoids (1–3) with significant increases in production during tumor development (4,5). An influence of cyclooxygenase metabolites of arachidonic acid on processes such as cell proliferation, migration, adherence, and hemostatic mechanisms were suggested.
