Statistical Evaluation of Market Potential Location of a New Product that Uses Renewable Energy Sources

All countries in the world are striving to secure future growth and prosperity by investing in science and research, often by promoting a start-up. A number of start-ups bring new and progressive ideas, and only 3% of them are realized. Often, this is not the result of a lack of finance as a poorly built team lacking sales and marketing experts. The creation of a new product must be closely linked to the complex knowledge of the target customer, his preferences and the possibility of further segmentation. Our goal was to introduce a new start-up product called Chargebrella, which helps the general public to take advantage of the possibility of recharging electric equipment with “umbrellas” and to assess the possibilities of marketing. This article is a short description of the new technology proposed by Phd. student, Daniel Šlosár. Within the research, a marketing survey was conducted through a standardized questionnaire aimed at defining the target customer and his preferences regarding the price, manner and location of the use of the new product as well as the time of its use. Research results have provided important findings that are key to future project development.
