Possibility of Identification of Transport Units Through RFID Technology at Own Level of the Company

This article deals with the use of RFID technology for monitoring transport units at the level of the company. The alternative use of RFID technology for monitoring transport units in the supply chain is discussed in the Introduction. The complexity of this alternative is related to the fact that only the supplier is interested in applying RFID technology. There are several options for solving the above problem. Each of these options includes specific issues, benefits, accidents, and the amount of information it can provide. The main part of the article deals with one of the above-mentioned possibilities, which is a special switchable RFID box. This RFID box allows you to switch between the different labels stored in it. That is, it can provide RFID readers with different information stored in RFID tags. In fact, it is a multitag that allows only one of the contained tags to be switched to the active state. Furthermore, the article describes the principle function of RFID box and possible use in a problematic area. The part of the article is the verification and comparison of standard and proposed solutions. The concluding section discusses the possible applications of RFID box.
