Abstract

The elucidation of physical and chemical differences between molecules of certain plant products often presents considerable difficulty, since such differences may be too small to be capable of detection by the physico-chemical and other analytical methods at present available. This limitation is particularly felt in the analysis of certain macromolecules, such as proteins, polysaccharides or nucleoproteins.
