Abstract

After the Japanese army occupied Nanjing, there are many arguments because the groups engaged in burial work and the starting time of burial work were closely related to the death toll. The Red Swastika Society is the only organization admitted by the Japanese “frictionalists” to engage in the burial work and the burial work began from February 1st, 1938. The author rebuts the fictionalists from The Diaries of John Rabe, the report of Nanjing Secret Service Organization in February and March in 1938 and the request article of Chongshantang ZHOU Yiyu.
